Robert "Corky" Cartwright, CS Prof, Rice U: The Killian memos could not have been typed on an IBM Executive typewriter with "proportional spacing" or any other typewriter usingsimilar technology. In contrast, modern proportional spacing involves a far moresophisticated type-setting algorithm. (hughhewitt)

I think what we need to be demanding is a side-by-side public comparison of these new Bush memos with other documents from that office from that time. No matter what any "experts" say, there will always be other "experts" to refute them. Regardless of the evidence.

If all the other documents from that office in 1972 and 1973 match these, we'll know these are legit. If they don't match these, we'll know these aren't. Case closed.

The fact that Dan didn't have reams of matching documents to shove into our faces, the fact that all he could do was compare two different superscripts and call them the same, tells me the documents don't match.
